Dead Leg is the plumber’s best friend when installing dead legs, quickly calculating water capacity and hot/warm water wait times while ensuring compliance with the AS/NZ3500 engineering standards and health guidelines.
Dead Leg helps to eliminate the risk of oversizing dead legs and ensures plumbers and engineers have a record of the calculations and installations for each dead leg in the system should any issues arise long after the project is completed.
To use the tool, simply select your pipe size and fill in one of the two below parameters to get your answer:
- Maximum allowable dead leg capacity (L)
- Length of the dead leg (m)
